QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Preference given to current Brandon University senior undergraduate student; or a student enrolled in graduate program or holding a graduate degree.
• Specific courses related to the given department/faculty in which the job is needed when indicated in the posting
• Strong academic standing in the courses intended to tutor, with a minimum “B” grade.
• Previous tutoring experience is considered a strong asset.
• Work with minimal to no direct supervision.
• Working hours may include day, evening as needed.
• Work in small group settings.

Hold regular tutoring sessions for students enrolled in either 15:151 BOL & 15:162 CGE (concurrent classes):

• Assist students with understanding of course content.
• Explain concepts, clarify information, answer student questions, and offer support.
• Administer practice tests to assist with learning material and prepare for actual tests or examination.
• Assist with other relevant duties as assigned.
