QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• School of Music graduate student preferred; upper-year undergraduates accepted.
• Knowledge of core music theory, history, and/or aural skills is essential.
• Previous experience with courses and their textbooks is preferred.
• Good English communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently and making independent judgments.
• Basic math skills.
• Familiarity with online platforms such as Zoom, Moodle and Microsoft Teams is
  required.

• Maintain contact with supervising professor weekly.
• Grade a variety of class assignments specific to the position and course, which can include the following: sight-signing, dictation, part-writing, analysis, counterpoint, short compositions, writing assignments (short paragraphs, reading responses, short essays).
• Grade the final exam.
• Report on frequent problems encountered in assignments, and on possible plagiarism.
• Organize time efficiently in order to finish assignments within a short turn-around window.
• Other related duties as assigned.
