We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Legal team. The Job As a Student Assistant in the Legal team, you will undertake challenging and varying tasks in relation to carry out our deliveries, to fulfil the legal key strategic initiatives and goals, and to support the day-to-day operations of the organisation. Your main tasks will be to: Support the legal team and the rest of the organisation on transactions, asset management, as well as various internal matters. Negotiation and drafting of certain transactional and non-transactional agreements and documents (e.g., non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, certain supplier agreements, powers of attorney, etc.). Assistance with corporate housekeeping with respect to the growing number of Novo Holdings companies. Conducting legal research. Preparing PowerPoint presentations. The Legal team consists of 12 lawyers based across offices in Copenhagen, Boston, San Francisco and Singapore. The workload will be approximately 15-20 hours a week (at the Novo Holdings office in Copenhagen) with flexibility in relation to your studies. Personal & Professional Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who: Has completed a BA.jur. or HA.jur. and is currently enrolled in the first semester of a master’s degree in law (cand.jur.) or business administration and commercial law (cand.merc.(jur.)). Has a good understanding of general contract law. Has a good understanding of corporate law, securities law and/or M&A is a plus but not a requirement. Has fluent communication skills in English – both written and verbal. Demonstrates excellent analytical skills with the right combination of overview and attention to detail. Works in a structured and independent manner – a highly motivated self-starter. Is a team player who wants to be a part of an international environment.
