WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?

As a requirement to fulfill this role you must be enrolled in an educational institution throughout the full employment. We are looking for a candidate who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree (5th - 6th semester) and commencing on a master’s degree within a relevant field such as economics, finance or the like. As the ideal candidate you:

• Communicate fluently and effectively in English both verbal and written (Danish not required as team and task is international)
• Are a strong user of the Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
• Have an analytical and structured approach to tasks and problem solving
• Come with passion and drive both related to your studies and the opportunity to apply and expand your knowledge in a professional setting
• Are ambitious and have a strong aptitude for learning
• Can collaborate effectively within the team and with a wide range of stakeholders across the business

When becoming a Student Assistant you will contribute to the core responsibilities of an international commercial finance team. You will join the EU Zone Sales and Marketing Finance team which is a part of our EU Zone Finance Team working across Arla’s core European commercial markets on a broad range of responsibilities within Commercial Finance. As a student assistant you will be supporting the team within all areas but with key focus on:

• The annual business plan process which focuses both on the coming year and longer term perspective
• Annual target setting process with focus on tools, templates, alignment and tracking
• KPI follow-up on the business plan of the EU leadership team
• Support the Finance Business Partners in the team who are working with the central EU Marketing and Commercial Operations tea
