Student Software Researcher Software Researcher – Student Assistant About the Role As a Software Researcher (Student Assistant) in our Emerging AI team, you will have a unique opportunity to work on the development of advanced AI and computer vision algorithms. You will be part of a team dedicated to incubating new ideas and maturing them into future products within video analytics and AI solutions for the surveillance industry. In close collaboration with our engineers and researchers, you will contribute to both research and implementation. You will also have the option to connect your student assistant tasks with your Master’s thesis. Key Responsibilities Implement and test AI and computer vision algorithms Enhance and curate datasets with a focus on quality and relevance Collaborate with engineers and researchers on integration into production software Write technical documentation and reports We expect you to have Enrollment in a Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Strong proficiency in Python Experience with PyTorch or a similar deep learning framework Interest in or experience with other programming languages (C++, C#, Java, Go) is an advantage Documented coursework or projects in AI and computer vision Ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule Work Environment & Support Flexible working hours to fit your study schedule Exposure to diverse technologies and real-world projects Supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunities for mentorship and professional development Competencies we value We are looking for a curious and proactive profile who: Explores new ideas and approaches Analyzes problems and develops practical solutions Is open to feedback and adapts to new challenges Works independently and in a structured manner Delivers high-quality results on time Why join us?
