Description
Our client URGENTLY requires a Student Civil Engineer for a 6 months + Contract in Nerang. This role is up to 2-3 days per week during semesters, and full time during University holidays. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of heavy vehicle permits for the road infrastructure projects through the administration of contracts and provide technical expertise and support in the design, construction and maintenance processes. Responsibilities and Requirement include: Must be currently enrolled in a 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree accredited under the Washington Accord. Assist in the assessments of the most suitable workflow process for Heavy Vehicle, then administer the HV permits to ensure compliance and successful delivery. Assist in Identifying possible problem areas and negotiate modifications or adaptations to the heavy vehicle traffic routes where necessary to achieve acceptance. Determine appropriate bridge and road maintenance procedures, work instructions and manage road and bridge maintenance tasks. Top $'s Paid ! Long-Term Contract extensions available !
