We’re looking for a part-time Student, Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communications team, working part time, in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Toronto. In this role, you’ll play a hands-on part in supporting internal communications, employee engagement, and brand storytelling across OMERS. What you’ll do: You’ll work closely with the Corporate Communications team and key partners across the business to support a range of initiatives, including: Employee engagement & events Support planning and execution of ERG programming Contribute to enterprise events and employee experience activations (e.g., Employee Appreciation Week) Provide on-the-ground event support, including logistics and coordination Content & communications Assist in developing internal communications and social content Support leadership communications, including potential social media content Contribute to community content, including articles and storytelling initiatives Assist in the refresh of several resources and campaigns related to the Wellness Centre Help maintain and update content templates Program & team support Provide support to ongoing Community program development Provide support to the team that covers the Wellness Centre reception desk, as required Work closely with team members to bridge coverage gaps and ensure continuity on key initiatives What you bring Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for clear and engaging content Interest in corporate communications, employee experience, or brand storytelling Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams Creative mindset with familiarity in tools like Canva or social media platforms (an asset) Willingness to be hands-on, especially supporting in-person events This posting is for an existing vacancy. The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract. You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
