About the role
We are seeking a passionate individual to provide project and administrative support to the Student Engagement, Inclusion and Belonging team, assisting with projects associated with Student Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the Head, Student Engagement Inclusion, and Belonging and the Manager, Student Activation and Belonging in delivering services and events for diverse student cohorts including LGBTQIA+ and International students Support the Manager, Student Activation and Belonging with planning and briefing for student equity, diversity and inclusion and international student activations, events and communication support
- Provide administrative support for regulatory requirements related to student diversity and inclusion and international student compliance including any regulatory requirements such as the National Student Safety Survey and the Action Plan and Code addressing Gender Based Violence in Higher Education
- Oversee spaces on campus such as the sensory space and complete administrative tasks related to their functions
- Comply with relevant EEO and WHS regulations
- Perform any other duties as required and appropriate for this classification
About you
You’ll be a self-starting individual with excellent work organisation and time management skills and ability to remain resilient when under pressure. You will have expert planning, design and content development capabilities, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You will enjoy working in a dynamic environment, applying a methodical and consultative approach in your work, and be motivated to deliver work outputs that are of a consistent high quality.

- A tertiary degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and administering student events and engagement initiatives.
- Knowledge of the Australian higher education system including support for international students
- Knowledge of student/customer engagement projects and programs.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support including the preparation of agendas and accurate recording and distribution of meeting minutes.
