Student Employee - Cashier's Office Job Description Student Employees are eligible to work on campus in a part time capacity according to Ensign College Student Employment Policy. In addition to fulfilling this purpose, each employee continuously strives to bring about the mission of Ensign College, which is to develop capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ. Hours: 15-19 hours a week during semester and the starting wage for all student employees is $14.00 per hour with the possibility of $.25 rate increase each semester of continued work based on merit. Specific Summary of Duties: · First point of contact in the Cashier’s Office, answer student account questions · Resolution of student inquiries via phone, email or in-person · Performing cashiering duties, processing refunds, contacting delinquent student accounts · Assist Student Account Supervisor with any assignments or tasks Job Qualification: · Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student taking at least 6 credits (3 per block) and in good academic standing. · Ability to produce effective written correspondence through email and other written communication. · Have the ability to communicate effectively, listen and respond appropriately. · Highly self-motivated, hard worker, creative, and has a great attention to detail. · Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with the supervisor, team members, faculty, and staff. · Ability to solve problems and ask for clarification as needed. · Proficient in Office 365 and Canvas. · Detail oriented All employees accept as conditions of employment that they will: · Refrain from behavior or expression that seriously and adversely affects the college mission or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, · Act in accordance with the Church Educational System Honor Code and the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations, (See Employee Conduct Policy), · Comply with all college policies and procedures, · Commitment to bring about the purposes of Ensign College, · Maintain these conditions of employment on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities
