Status: Maximum fixed term full-time (35 hours per week) for 6 months
Salary: $63,145 per annum pro rata + 12% superannuation

Purpose:
The two successful Student Engineers will join Engineering Services and be exposed to all aspects of design, planning, and managing Council’s assets and in the delivery of capital works and maintenance programs. This role will challenge and develop your decision-making skills and provide scope to gain experience in local government civil engineering practices.

• Provide general assistance to the Engineering Services team
• Undertake and assist in design and surveying duties
• Assist the department with investigating and actioning department customer service requests, preparing correspondence and the production of reports.
• Liaise with the community and Council’s staff in relation to project construction issues andenquiries.
