Full time, continuing position located at our Camperdown Campus Opportunity to coordinate and deliver the Faculty of Science’s student programs and events Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity Working under the direction of the Manager, Student Experience & Engagement, the Student Experience and Engagement Officer will coordinate the delivery of the Faculty’s current student programs and events to aid the Faculty of Science in achieving its core strategic objectives relating to the University’s Student Experience Strategy and to enhance the reputation of the Faculty and brand position among a variety of audiences including current students. Your key responsibilities will be to: coordinate and deliver student engagement programs, initiatives and events lead the Science Undergraduate Peer Mentoring Program, ensuring student centricity, evaluation and continuous improvement of the program contribute to the development and delivery of the faculty's Career's readiness and support program, including supporting the delivery of careers events and maintenance of career's resources for current Science students partner with Student Clubs and Societies to enable them to successfully contribute to and participate in the engagement strategy and enhancement of the Faculty of Science reputation actively contribute to a team environment that fosters and develops effective working relationships evaluate current student programs against strategic objectives and provide meaningful trend analysis for reporting purposes. About you a degree qualification in a related field plus relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating and delivering student-focused events and programs designed to enhance engagement outstanding customer service, communication (both oral and written) and organisational skills strong relationship management skills and experience working with diverse client backgrounds a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the proven ability to exercise initiative, flexibility and independent judgment proven ability to analyse, problem solve and work under pressure experience using reporting, student administration and event management software a valid NSW driver’s licence Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
