Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, the Student Experience Manager is responsible for designing and implementing strategies that enhance the academic, social, and cultural experiences of international and domestic students enrolled in the Academic Preparation and Pathways (AP3), Global Study, and Pre-College Programs. This position fosters a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment, contributing to student engagement, well-being, and success.
The Student Experience Manager provides daily guidance to staff and student assistants, ensuring effective training, scheduling, and successful execution of events and activities. The position is also responsible for developing campus and community partnerships, coordinating volunteer opportunities, and curating a wide range of activities that align with the program’s mission of delivering an exceptional student experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - FOR FULL CONSIDERATION, APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO UPLOAD LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATION IF REQUIRED OF THE POSITION

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, international studies, student affairs, or related field and or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in student engagement, international education, or program management.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and fostering inclusive environments.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Experience with event management and organizing co-curricular activities for youth and young adults.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in education, student affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience managing activities or events for international students.
  • Familiarity with higher education systems, including student services and resources for international students.
  • Experience supervising a team.
  • Proficiency in a second language.
