Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is in-person and located in the charming town of St. Thomas ON.
The Construction Engineering Technician will support Operations PMO and project teams with overall project coordination tasks. This position offers hands-on experience in construction operations, allowing students to apply academic knowledge to real-world construction projects while developing practical skills in a dynamic work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct daily site activities including visiting the site to observe and report early works.
  • Assist in preparation of internal weekly and monthly project reports (progress, cost, schedule).
  • Take meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on assigned actions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and workflow.
  • Support document control.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., estimating, design, safety, procurement) to gather input or share updates.
  • Help schedule and prepare agendas for coordination meetings with consultants and subcontractors.
