Working closely with Senior Coordinator, Student Financials, on a day-to-day basis to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations of the Student Financial function. Reports to: Senior Coordinator, Student Financials Your Responsibilities Provide operational and advisory support for RMIT Vietnam student financial processes for Higher Education students each semester (3 semesters per academic year), Foundation Studies students (2 semesters per academic year), and English students every term (9 terms per academic year). Manage a wide range of student financial transactions and requests, including refunds, payment deadline extensions, and enrolment reinstatements. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and handled with confidentiality and integrity. Respond to inquiries from students, parents, and internal stakeholders, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills when explaining invoices, outstanding balances, payment instructions, and fee-related matters. Ensure responses are provided within the service standard timeframe (within 24 hours). Review, verify, and input invoice data into student systems, maintaining high accuracy and ensuring data integrity for financial reporting and compliance purposes. Support and coordinate the implementation of the national medical insurance process for Vietnamese students, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with RMIT and government requirements. Provide advice to students and assist in resolving complex or exceptional cases in collaboration with the responsible officer and relevant departments. Provide support in testing, implementing, and documenting process or system changes under the direction of Line Manager, ensuring minimal disruption to student experience. Collaborate effectively with Student Connect, Accounting, ITS, and other Student Administration teams to deliver consistent, student-centered financial services and ensure alignment with RMIT policies and procedures. Maintain equitable and professional behaviour toward all students, particularly those facing financial hardship, promoting a positive and inclusive service culture. Undertake other duties as required to support the effective delivery of student financial operations. Key Selection Criteria A bachelor degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline or other equivalent work experience. At least one to two years of experience required, three years desirable Demonstrated experience in a customer service focussed environment. Demonstrated experience in an accounting-related role. Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and experience using database systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality, attention to detail, and accuracy when managing information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in liaising with people at all levels and areas of an organization; for example, students, academic staff, and management, as well as with people in the industry, government, and other organizations. Ability to display appropriate behaviors in line with the position and RMIT Values.
