The Engineering and Assurance department within Landmarc has responsibility for developing the technical approach of the company, ensuring the activity undertaken across the built and rural estates addresses the business needs, and also assuring that this is undertaken consistently and in accordance with all required processes and procedures.
Landmarc is currently looking for a student that is looking for a sandwich year placement, as part of their degree. A great opportunity for a Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering student to gain hands-on experience in technical assurance and asset management.
The projects will be mainly in the technical assurance and asset management space, however there is some flexibility depending on the skills and aspirations of the successful candidate to work with design teams in project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Technical Assurance Manager with data analysis and corrective actions
  • Support compliance with Legionella, Asbestos, Electrical, Petroleum, Fire, DSEAR, and Gas Safety regulations
  • Review and improve existing procedures
  • Develop an understanding of Safe Systems of Work and propose improvements
  • Work with the Strategic Asset Manager to enhance technical maintenance using modern techniques (e.g., thermographic and vibration analysis)
