Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare the PR for new merchandise Ensure items received are correct and placed at the correct location Manage merchandise item stocks and sales at SSC. Ensure adequate merchandise order forms are available at the SSC counter for daily sale purposes and make copies when necessary. Attend to merchandise purchase requests from students and staff at SSC counter Stock checking, ensure the students/staff fill in correct details on the order form, collect the payment, and compile, record, filing completed forms daily. Manage back charge requests from staff/student clubs and societies-receive completed back charge order forms, check stock, prepare items for collection, compile, record, and file. Perform stock checking at SSC, Reception (GF) and LG Check the stock demands, request for item restocking, report defective items. Prepare the monthly report and submit to Student Life and Finance Dept- 3 reports (Sale report, stock card, and compilation of back charge forms) General Task Attend to calls and forward them to the respective staff/department when necessary. Monitor the queue management system to attend to walk-in enquiries at the SSC counter and direct them to the respective staff/department when necessary Assist with documents/ID collection. Assist and guide students in filling out university forms at the SSC counter and kiosk. i.e. Transcript and confirmation requests, e-refund form, e-self certification form, e-mitigating, e-TSS, reassessment, withdrawal, add-and-drop, program transfers, etc. Ensure adequate forms are available at the SSC counter and make copies whenever necessary.
Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for managing merchandise inventory, including preparing purchase requests, receiving items, tracking stock levels, and handling sales transactions at the Student Service Centre counter.
