Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Intern who is looking to gain more experience in the Talent Acquisition field, someone who enjoys the fast pace of full-cycle recruitment and a passion for recruitment marketing initiatives. An eye for detail and commitment to quality and service while thriving in a fast-paced environment are essential skills for this role, along with the ability to communicate effectively and prioritize multiple projects.
We are recruiting for an 8-month term starting in September 2025, with the possibility of extension!

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with on-going recruitment activities for the Talent team
  • Scheduling prescreens, interviews and reference checks
  • Posting job opportunities on external job boards
  • Assisting other Talent Acquisition projects or initiatives as needed
  • Supporting the Student and New Graduate Talent team on various projects, including representing AIMCo at on campus events
  • Researching trends and making recommendations on new talent initiatives

Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • A 2025 new grad or currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s diploma or degree in Business, Management, Human Resources or similar program.
  • Attention to detail is key due to meeting Audit processes.
  • Previous work experience/co-op terms within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition is ideal.
  • Experience working with Workday is an asset.
  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Resourceful, knows how to use their skills to uncover possible solutions to questions and/or problems.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo’s core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others.

Success Measures:
You will become well-versed in the Talent Acquisition function within the greater HR structure of AIMCo. You will begin to understand the inner workings of a robust HR team within AIMCo along with a better understanding of who AIMCo is and how we serve our clients.
