Are you an organised and enthusiastic administrator looking to play a meaningful role in shaping the student experience? We are seeking a Student Journey Administrator to join the Registry Services Directorate at the University of Suffolk.
You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team delivering key services throughout the student lifecycle—from enrolment to graduation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the university’s operations, helping to deliver essential services and improve processes that support every step of our students’ academic journey.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and detail-oriented, with excellent administrative and IT skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • A great communicator, able to handle queries sensitively and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Confident in working flexibly, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Relevant Knowledge:

  • A Level 3 qualification or relevant professional experience (a HE qualification is desirable).
  • A sound understanding of the student journey in higher education or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • A commitment to the University’s values, including inclusivity, respect, and clear communication.

If you’re ready to join a friendly and supportive team committed to enhancing the student experience, we would love to hear from you.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS POST IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR VISA SPONSORSHIP.

We are a values driven organisation, committed to ensuring we remain a beacon for aspiration and achievement, while providing a great environment to work and study. We are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community and we encourage applications from under-represented groups.
We believe sustainability is fundamental to our culture and our business as usual working practice, and are commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), whilst actively addressing resource usage and climate and biodiversity degradation. We are seeking passionate individuals who share this commitment, aligning with our strategic initiatives and procedures to drive positive change and contribute to a more sustainable future

Responsibilities

In this varied and student-focused role, you will:

  • Administer key student-facing processes such as Extenuating Circumstances and contribute to the management of Student Appeals, Complaints and Conduct.
  • Provide accurate advice and timely communications to students and colleagues across the university.
  • Support the planning and delivery of core events, including induction, registration and graduation.
  • Assist with attendance monitoring and engagement interventions, including some activities at our London Centre.
  • Collaborate with teams across the institution to enhance service delivery and ensure a seamless student experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and data quality initiatives.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant data protection, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
