NATURE OF WORK

École Wiinibekuu School in Waskaganish is seeking a student life animator to join its team. This person will be responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing activities in the school that will promote student life and engagement.
In addition, they will participate in and support projects within the school that provide for additional extra-curricular opportunities for students, engagement with parents, and the school staff.
Under the supervision of the School Principal, they will align their work to the Cree School Board’s Strategic Action Plan, the school’s Local School Improvement Plan (LSIP), and funding that is available to support these initiatives. Connecting and partnering with local entities is essential, as well as internally within CSB departments with a similar focus under the departments of Student Services, School Operations, and Communications and Community Engagement.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
Fluency in English is required.
Ability to speak Cree is an asset.
