*Please Note:  Priority consideration will be given to students with a Federal Work Study award.   Job Requirements: •Administer First Aid, CPR & AED in an emergency •Inform other guards or facility staff when more help or equipment is needed •Complete required records and reports •Maintain pool information records •Inspect the facility daily and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the Aquatic Coordinator •Perform maintenance or other task assigned by the Aquatic Coordinator •Open and Close Pool •Monitor and record pool chemicals •Provide daily participation count and revenue collection •Responsible for pool set up for scheduled events •Attends all meetings and In-service training •Understands facility rules, policies and procedures •Maintains and cleans equipment to meet safety standards   Job Requirements: •Current CPR, AED, First Aid and Lifeguarding certifications (for professional rescuer) •Knowledge of TC3 Aquatic employee manual •Ability to take control of conflict resolution situations in a fair and timely manner •Enforce rules and policies in a firm yet polite manner
Responsibilities
The lifeguard is responsible for administering emergency care, monitoring pool conditions including chemical levels, and maintaining facility records and daily operations like opening and closing the pool. They must also set up the pool for scheduled events and attend all required meetings and training sessions.
