We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable student Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers find the perfect eyewear solutions while providing exceptional service. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care and assistance in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses that meet their needs.

SKILLS

• Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as WINK is beneficial.
• Proficient in retail sales techniques to enhance customer experience.
• Understanding of medical terminology related to eye care is advantageous.

• Provide expert advice on lens options, frame styles, and fitting techniques.
• Perform measurements for eyewear fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Maintain an organized display of optical products and ensure inventory is well-stocked.
• Process orders for eyewear and manage the dispensing of glasses and contact lenses.
• Collaborate with optometrists to provide seamless patient care, including interpreting prescriptions.
• Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
• Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
