*Please Note:  Priority consideration will be given to students with a Federal Work Study award.   Job Description: The peer tutors will work in one or more of the tutoring centers:   - Math & Science - Accounting & Business - Writing & Research - Computer Applications and Programming Peer tutors generally will be assisting students by appointment. Tutors will help with content, study skills, test preparation, and more. Tutors may be asked to do small projects around the Baker Center when not busy with a tutee. Student tutors may also have the opportunity to serve as a classroom assistant in certain developmental classes.     Job Requirements: Peer tutors should have content knowledge and a patient, encouraging personality. They should be willing to help students figure out how they learn best and to try different strategies for helping the student learn the material. Also, they should be recommended by a TC3 faculty member. Peer tutors may be asked to complete an evaluation of their math skills and to keep brushing up as the semester goes along. All tutor applicants will need to fill out an additional application at the Baker Center for Learning.
