*Please Note:  Priority consideration will be given to students with a Federal Work Study award.   Job Requirements: Candidate must be enrolled in or have completed Art 111, Photography I. It is helpful if candidate has also completed Art 212, Intro to Digital Photography. Candidate should have a strong grasp of basic photography technique including how to develop film and make darkroom prints. Candidate must be reliable, punctual, have good communication skills, and work well with students and faculty.   Job Description: Oversee the photography darkroom and digital lab areas. Mix and clean up chemistry for film and print development. Interact with students and help them work in a safe and productive manner. Circulate frequently between the darkroom and the digital lab. Keep the facilities clean and orderly. Work independently but communicate frequently in person and by email with the Chair of Photography.   Hourly Rate: $16.00
Responsibilities
The assistant will oversee the photography darkroom and digital lab areas, including mixing and cleaning up chemistry for film and print development. They must interact with students to ensure safe and productive work while keeping facilities clean and orderly.
