Dowerin is a student placement and migration consultancy with offices in Melbourne, Colombo, and Helsinki. We place international students into universities and institutes, and support their education journey end-to-end.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking an experienced Student Placement Officer to join our Melbourne team. You’ll counsel students, shortlist courses, manage applications/COEs, and convert enquiries into successful admissions. Experience with onshore Indian or Sri Lankan student markets in Australia is essential.

• Conduct student consultations (phone, in-person, online); assess academic background, budget, and goals
• Recommend courses/providers and manage end-to-end applications (documentation, submissions, follow-ups)
• Coordinate offers, GTE, COE and enrolment steps; maintain accurate records in CRM
• Build and manage relationships with education providers; stay current on intakes, scholarships, and entry criteria
• Achieve monthly placement/conversion targets; provide clear pipeline and progress reporting
• Represent Dowerin at info sessions, open days, and community events as required
