About Proximity Foundation Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence. We are scaling from the first cohort to many cohorts within Mumbai and building the operational team that will carry this program forward. Every role in Proximity Foundation is a direct investment in the young people we serve. Student Progress Tracker - Volunteer Role Department : Program Delivery | Reports to: Program Coordinator Lead ROLE FOCUS : Monitor LMS data, maintain attendance, create Reports Role Type : Volunteer Time Commitment : 2-3 hrs/week Department : Program Delivery Reports To : Program Coordinator Lead ROLE FOCUS Monitor LMS data, maintain attendance, produce reports and milestone logs across all cohorts. The Program Coordinator and Director rely on this role to always have accurate, up-to-date student progress data — so no student falls through the cracks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor LMS data and track student progress across all cohorts Maintain attendance logs and milestone completion records Compile session reports from mentors into clear progress summaries Flag at-risk or disengaged students to the Program Coordinator Prepare regular progress reports for the Director of Operations Maintain confidentiality of all student records at all times WHAT A TYPICAL WEEK LOOKS LIKE After each session round you'll collect reports from mentors, update the tracker, and flag any concerns. At the end of each week and at the end of the program phase, you'll prepare a concise summary for leadership. Mostly async, methodical work. WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Your work ensures no student is invisible. The data you maintain is what allows the team to intervene early, celebrate wins, and improve the program cohort by cohort.
