Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic student within Logistics, Production, or Engineering to help us look into future automation possibilities for our warehouse and production floor. Project Objective We want to understand how automation could improve our daily material flows. Your task will be to review our current processes and investigate whether solutions like automated guided vehicles (AGVs) or conveyor systems would be a good, practical fit for our company. What You Will Look Into: Goods Receiving: Moving pallets from delivery trucks into the warehouse racks. Production Area: Moving full component trays (PCB blisters) from SMD Line to Assembly stations, and returning empty trays. Packing & Shipping: Moving packed pallets to the wrapping machine and then to storage. Refilling Picking Zones: Making sure our picking areas and manual workbenches stay stocked with parts automatically. What You Will Do: Walk the floor to map out our current workflows and spot where delays happen. Look into existing market technologies that are user-friendly and reliable. Help put together a basic cost-benefit overview to see if the investment makes sense. Share your findings and suggestions with our team at the end of the project. Who We Are Looking For: A student in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a similar field (suitable for both Bachelor and College/YH students). Someone who is curious about Lean, warehouse management, and new technology. A proactive person who enjoys talking to people on the floor and working with real-world problems. No prior industry experience required—just a willingness to learn! What We Offer: A concrete, hands-on project with clear goals. Regular support and friendly guidance from our logistics team. A welcoming workspace right next to our operations.
