We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Student Recruiter to join our admissions and outreach team.
Position Summary
The Student Recruiter is responsible for attracting prospective students to the college through strategic outreach, relationship building, and personalized support. This individual plays a key role in promoting the college’s programs, guiding applicants through the admissions process, and helping them make informed decisions about their education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Outreach
  • Promote the college’s programs through high school visits, community events, job fairs, and career expos.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with guidance counselors, community organizations, employment agencies, and other referral partners.
  • Organize and lead campus tours, open houses, and information sessions (in-person and virtual).
  • Admissions Support
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students in a timely and professional manner.
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process, including program selection, documentation requirements, and deadlines.
  • Follow up with leads and track applicant progress in CRM or admissions software.
  • Marketing & Promotion
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support recruitment campaigns and social media outreach.
  • Provide input on promotional materials and outreach strategies.
  • Represent the college professionally in all communications and public interactions.
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and applicant interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and college policies regarding admissions practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Post-secondary education, College diploma or University degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, sales, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a private career college or post-secondary education setting.
  • Knowledge of Ontario’s career college sector and relevant Ministry guidelines.
  • Multilingual skills are an asset.
