Petroc is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All positions are subject to the completion of checks, including an Enhanced DBS clearance. We are permitted to ask whether an applicant has any convictions, cautions or reprimands or final warnings (spent or otherwise) which would not be filtered in line with current guidance as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020).
In line with the most recent Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines, an online search will also be carried out for short-listed candidates prior to interview.
