We are actively seeking a Student, Service Desk Analyst to join our Information Systems team in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Team Lead, Service Desk, this position will be responsible for providing support to employees for any IT-related incidents and requests, both over the phone and in person to ensure reliable operation of hardware and software for our users. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of customer service to ensure incidents are resolved in a time-efficient manner.
Essential Functions:
- Receive and respond to user issues submitted requests via telephone, email, or Jira tickets and resolve or escalate issues where required.
- Assist in employee onboarding/offboarding IS related activities.
- Collaborate with the IS team during weekly scrums by escalating issues, problems or raising awareness to patterns and repeating issues for permanent resolution.
- Follow the team’s process for access requests.
- Ensure service desk tickets are acknowledged and resolved within targets set by the team.
- IT equipment management – Maintain updated inventory of all IT assets such as PCs, printers, DID’s, fax lines and assist in general area cleanup.
- Development of how-to resources for end users and actively maintain it to ensure documentation is current.
- Cross train with other members of the IS team.
Qualifications Include:
- Current student or recent graduate of an Information Technology program.
- Proficiency with various Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a time-efficient manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and organization skills.
- Customer service skills.

- This position is based at our downtown Calgary office.
