YOUR DAY-TO-DAY IMPACT WILL INCLUDE: * Proactively monitor academic and attendance reports to identify students who may need a helping hand, intervening early to keep them on the path to success. * Connect students with vital resources, both internal (like tutoring) and external (such as agencies for childcare, housing, or financial assistance). You’ll be the bridge that helps them overcome life’s hurdles. * Reach out to students via phone, email, or in person with professionalism, empathy, and a listening ear. You’ll build trusting relationships while strictly adhering to FERPA guidelines to protect student privacy. * Act as a knowledgeable navigator, directing students to the right department—whether it’s Financial Aid, Admissions, or someone else—to resolve their issues and challenges efficiently. * Manage essential administrative processes with care, assisting students with Course Rescheduling, Leave of Absence forms, and facilitating the paperwork for re-enrollments to ensure a smooth transition back to school. * Help plan and execute engaging events that foster school spirit and connection. From new student orientation and workshops to graduation ceremonies and student appreciation days, you’ll help create memorable experiences. * Assist students in navigating electronic resources and help maintain a vibrant campus events calendar that highlights key dates, compliance topics, and community-building activities. * Maintain accurate and timely records of all student interactions to ensure continuity of care and institutional effectiveness. What You Bring to the Team (Minimum Qualifications) * An Associate Degree or higher * At least one (1) year of experience advising, supporting, or guiding students in a post-secondary (college/university) setting * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills; you’re approachable, empathetic, and a natural relationship-builder * Proficiency with word processing, email, and basic computer systems; comfort with learning new student databases * Solid organizational and basic math skills for tracking student progress and data. * Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications Compensation and Benefits That Empower You!
