The Academic Programmes Office (APO) is a large vibrant and dynamic professional service support team at IOE. The APO provides student and programme support for all accredited academic programmes, (undergraduate, post graduate and teacher training) as well as for all research student activity.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Line managing a team of 3 Student Services Officers
  • Delivering the extensive IOE induction programme including facilitating our Faculty Welcome sessions to all students, student voice enhancement plan, and the student well being, with assistance from the team and our Student Welcome Helpers
  • Effectively managing student casework, which includes complaints, extenuating circumstances, and interruptions; as well as acting as the Casework champion for the faculty;
  • Working on Student Success initiatives in close collaboration with the IOE Student Success lead;
  • Supporting and enhancing the student experience, which includes managing the IOE Student Helpdesk;
  • Providing effective and appropriate support to Faculty-level committees;
  • Providing training and support to IOE colleagues on processes, policies and regulations;
