We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Open Learning: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Planning and implementing the provision of student learning support and activities, special projects and functions of the School; Preparing promotional and publicity materials of the School; Providing support to programmes of the Ethics College; Performing data processing and compilation of statistical reports and correspondence; Providing general administrative and clerical support to School operations; Supervising and providing frontline services on roster basis, and handling students’ and external parties’ enquiries; Coordinating and liaising with internal and external parties at various levels; and Performing any other duties as assigned. The appointee will be required to perform duties occasionally on weekday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognised degree, preferably with some post-qualification working experience in student affairs and event support; High computer-literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word processing; Being self-motivated and detail-minded, and able to perform multi tasks and work under pressure; and A good team player with good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Cantonese, including Putonghua. Candidates may be invited to attend a written test. Responsibilities
