POSITION SUMMARY

The Student Services Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the student journey at Keyin College. This position focuses on providing clear communication, consistent support, and coordinated services for students from across Newfoundland and Labrador. Working closely with the Director of Student Services, Admissions, Human Resources, and other college departments, the Student Services Specialist helps students navigate their academic experience with confidence and care. The role contributes to student engagement, community connection, and the continuous enhancement of service delivery through a student-centered, inclusive approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, human resources, communications, social sciences, or student services).
• Experience working in student services, customer service, or administrative support.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and student-centered service.
• Familiarity with the Newfoundland and Labrador post-secondary education system is considered an asset.
