Overview Presbyterian is excited to offer an internship opportunity for student sonographers specializing in pediatric care. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a clinical setting, working alongside experienced sonographers and healthcare professionals to support diagnostic imaging for pediatric patients. The Student Sonographer Intern will gain hands-on experience in performing vascular and echocardiographic procedures under the direct supervision of licensed and registered cardiac or vascular sonographers. This internship provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a clinical setting, develop technical skills, and build professional competence in cardiovascular ultrasound. Responsibilities Assist in performing pediatric ultrasound examinations under the supervision of licensed sonographers. Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures. Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to departmental protocols. Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for pediatric patients and families.
