The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking to recruit a full time, open-ended Student Support Administrator.

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

  • Vocational qualifications (N/SVQ 2/3, ONC or equivalent) plus typically some relevant work experience; or school education to Standard Grade or equivalent plus typically related relevant work experience.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise a demanding workload as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, helpful, approachable and confident manner towards students and staff.
  • Competent and proven digital and IT skills; Microsoft Office applications – Word, PowerPoint, Excel – including Office 365 and SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, email, web.Experience of working with and advising students in a busy University or similar environment would be highly desirable.
