Student Worker – Floor Associate Number of Openings: 2 Purpose/Objective of the Role: Welcome all to The 1842. Taking care of The 1842 by removing trash, cleaning up spills, setting up games/activities, and reporting problems that may arise. Tasks & Responsibilities: * Provide welcoming atmosphere * Empty trash and recycling cans when they become full * Clean up spills of beverage and food * Dispose of trash and wipe down tables in between uses * Provide TV channel changes when requested * Help in completing opening and closing tasks * Once an hour bathroom and patio checks for tidiness * Helping to set up, run, and tear down special events * Report of equipment that is broken or not functioning as intended * Report any actions or incidents that jeopardize student safety, damage property, or are unlawful that occur on the grounds of the facility * Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills: * Willingness to work with others * Good communication skills * Available to work nights and weekends Potential Future Career Benefit: * Hospitality experience * Working in group settings NOTE: Employment sponsorship is not available for this position.
