The European Spallation Source ERIC, ESS, is hiring motivated and inspired people to design, construct and operate the world’s most powerful neutron source. The ESS accelerator, target and experiments are based in the university city Lund, Sweden and our Data Management Software Centre (DMSC) is placed in Lyngby, Denmark.
We are looking for a Student Worker to work 10 hours per week Administration group at the ESS Data Management and Software Centre in Lyngby.
About the team
In this position you will be working alongside three staff members providing service to the entire DMSC division. Our aim is to make the workday as smooth as possible for the employees and guests at DMSC. As part of the Admin team, you will be servicing the scientists who are building software for interpreting and understanding data from the future experiments at ESS.

As part of the position you will perform tasks, including, but not limited to:

• Work with reimbursement claims such as travel and expense forms following the financial requirements of the Danish legislation;
• Coordinate those arriving to the office in a responsive and courteous manner;
• Assist the team with setting up breakfast, coffee and cake for meetings;
• Assisting with Facilities Management including meeting rooms and kitchen areas;
• Adhoc tasks provided by the admin assitants and the project coordinator.

The position allows for candidates to grow in their role while taking on responsibility.
