JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Student Worker – Global Solutions to join our team of Global Solution Experts, Danfoss Climate Solutions in Nordborg. You will become part of a diverse team where we work close together cross functionally with focus on supporting customers with application knowledge and technical knowhow.
The Global Solutions Experts team has a focus on refrigeration, air-conditioning and related applications where Danfoss products from different product lines are used. The team supports manufacturers, of heat pumps, chillers, laboratory equipment, air conditioning systems for buildings, air conditioning systems for buses and trains and various refrigeration systems like cold rooms, ice machines, ice cream machines, refrigerated trucks and trailers, supermarkets, etc. to make their systems more efficient.
Promoting the use of natural refrigerants in cooling systems and heat pumps is an important part of our contribution to the decarbonization journey. Danfoss has build a training unit with a fully operational CO2 system in a sea container – the so-called Mobil Training Unit MTU -, which can be shipped around the world to provide hands-on training to interested customers. Furthermore, Danfoss participates in an EU funded project called SmartPumps to support the use of recycled material for high efficient heat pumps.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

• Preference to students studying energy, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering related topics. Other qualifications are also welcomed to apply if you have interest in the above mentioned activities.
• Communication within cross functional teams.
• Proficient with IT tools, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.Good English language skills verbally as well as in writing.

As a student worker within Global Solutions your main task is to:

• Support the deployment planning of the CO2 Mobile Training Unit (the training system in the sea container).

This includes:
-
- Providing info to the freight forwarders to ship the training unit.
- Coordinate with local Danfoss colleagues where the raining unit will be deployed to prepare the location and to run the training sessions.
- Support planning when and where the training unit is available
- Support collection and preparation of information for and from the EU funded Heat Pum project called Smart Pumps
This includes:

- Provide information of typical usage of components
- Support testing of heat pumps in the Danfoss Application Center
- Analyse results from tests done in the project and share learnings within Danfoss
