Description

STUDENT WORKER IN IT SECURITY – HELP US STAY ONE STEP AHEAD!

Do you want to turn your interest in IT security into real-world experience while making a difference in a company that builds critical systems for society? Then join us and help strengthen Systematic’s IT security posture.

JOINING THE TEAM

You will join a small and dedicated team of four full-time colleagues located in Aarhus and Bucharest. Our team combines decades of experience across different areas of IT security – from software security to physical infrastructure and compliance.
Although we each have our specialities, we collaborate closely and share a strong general understanding of IT security. We are driven by curiosity and ongoing improvement, always seeking smarter ways to do things and raise our security level. We value knowledge sharing, open dialogue and a proactive mindset.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are not expecting you to be an expert – we are looking for a motivated student with the right mindset and a genuine interest in IT security. To thrive in this role, we envisage that you:

  • are currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in IT security, IT or a related field
  • have a couple of years of theoretical experience with IT security – practical experience is a bonus, but not a requirement
  • speak and write English fluently, as we work across countries and cultures
  • are proactive, detail-oriented and like seeing tasks through to completion.

If you are eager to learn, ready to contribute and excited by the thought of improving security in a complex and dynamic organisation – we would love to hear from you!
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.

Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • assisting with tasks related to IT security risk and compliance
  • supporting risk assessments across the organisation
  • following up on vulnerability scans
  • managing and responding to enquiries in our internal mailbox
  • supporting the CISO team with ad hoc tasks
