Description
Develop 3D geometry and innovative designs concepts that solve challenging crash load cases while balancing construction, material, and manufacturing methods. Perform and understand tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and other simulations and analyses before releasing designs for production. Develop, study, and implement novel construction techniques and materials then drive them to production feasibility Hands-on prototyping, testing & troubleshooting In pursuit of a relevant Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aero Engineering or a related field A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) Must be able to work from the Long Beach, CA campus. Must be able to dedicate 6 months for this engagement Candidates must graduate and be available for full-time work prior to September 2026 Understanding of automotive seating.
