Job Title: Student Worker - Waco Hall Social Media Specialist- BC Job Classification: Marketing and Communications, Student Department: Student Activities Hiring Manager: Jeff Robinson Contact: Jeff_Robinson@Baylor.edu Work Schedule: Flexible working hours between Events and weekly crew hours Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing Pay Rate: $8.50 Job Description: Assist in the advancement of the Waco Hall social media accounts through pictures, videos, and other marketing tools. * Knowledge of social media engagement strategies and basic videography with editing is preferred. * Capture behind the scenes footage and pictures to share the story of Waco Hall through several events. * Creativity needed to pursue new engagement ideas and execute them in a timely manner * Organization and planning to create a social media plan in advance * Communicative skills to help tell stories through social media * Ability to work individually * Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility * Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to marketing and communications * Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly * Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively * Ability to comply with University policies * Maintain regular and punctual attendance Employer: Baylor University Work Location: Waco Hall Work Address: 624 Speight Ave, Waco, TX 76706
