Job Summary:
TOP Early Learning Center, a nonprofit preschool focused on providing high-quality early learning experiences to children in need, is seeking a dedicated Studio Coordinator. The Studio Coordinator will work with toddlers and preschool-age children, supporting at-risk students and families through engaging art and music experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan purposefully to offer children opportunities for inquiry and constructive meaning through hands-on experiences using various art media and music.
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate classroom project topics into art and music experiences.
  • Develop and adapt developmentally appropriate curricula and experiences for children in the “Open Windows Learning” studio.
  • Share children’s work with teachers and families through transcripts, photographs, and videos, creating documentation and displays as needed.
  • Regularly reflect with teachers, the Center Director, and families on educational goals and progress.
  • Ensure program practices align with quality standards.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate ratios and credential requirements for the classroom.
  • Foster positive interpersonal relationships among staff members, classrooms, and schools.
  • Identify professional development opportunities that align with teaching staff goals and needs.
  • Provide coverage for breaks and lunches when necessary.
  • Report directly to the Center Director.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with toddlers and preschool-age children.
  • Commitment to supporting at-risk students and families.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop engaging and developmentally appropriate curricula.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
