JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a positive, energetic person to join our team as a full-time Studio Manager in a fast-paced environment!
The Studio Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our studio, ensuring a welcoming and productive environment for both staff and clients. This position requires a dynamic individual who possesses strong leadership skills and a passion for fostering creativity. The Studio Manager will be responsible for managing staff, enhancing customer experiences, and driving sales initiatives to achieve studio goals.

EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Customer Service: 3 years min. (required)
  • Management: 2 years (preferred)
  • Problem-solving and resourceful
  • Strong communication skills (English required, bilingual in French is a plus)
  • Proven experience in sales or retail management with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with cashiering processes and financial management practices.
  • Experience in training development to effectively onboard new staff members.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of the tattoo/piercing process (having tattoos and piercings is a strong bonus)

  • Secondary School (Preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls and replying to client e-mails and inquiries on social media (Instagram, Google, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Lead and supervise studio staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and morale.
  • Maintaining a transparent and positive work environment for the artists and the clients.
  • Interacting with clients from their arrival to the shop, to cashing them out and providing them with the necessary aftercare information.
  • Simple financial reporting daily (calculating sales, managing deposits left by clients)
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop (sweeping, changing trash, keeping items stocked)
  • Bi-Weekly inventory management
  • Manage recruitment processes to attract top talent for various studio roles.
  • Overseeing the studio’s schedule and corroborating with artists to book appointments.
  • Foster a positive studio culture that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the studio environment.
