Description

Spawts Studio Inc. is a family-owned small business with over 22 years of experience crafting custom ceramic keepsakes. We’re a close-knit, team-driven studio that values artistic excellence, efficiency, and precision. Our mission is to create lasting memorial products that honor the cherished bonds between pet parents and their beloved companions. If you’re detailed-oriented, innovative, and energized by organizing information and systems, we’d love to hear from you.
We are currently seeking a Shipping, Receiving, and Fulfillment Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of our custom ceramic keepsakes. This is not a junior position. The ideal candidate will excel at both the hands-on responsibilities of receiving, cataloging, packaging, and shipping unique orders and the opportunity to refine or enhance our existing workflows. For the right individual who demonstrates innovation and a long-term commitment, we offer a higher salary and opportunities for leadership.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This full-time role demands exceptional attention to detail, physical stamina, and an unwavering commitment to quality. You will be responsible for every stage of an order’s journey, from intake to shipping, ensuring each item meets our exacting standards. The role requires highly developed fine motor skills and acute precision, as every aspect of handling, cataloging, and packaging is hands-on and detail-oriented, reflecting the care and craftsmanship that define our work.
You will spend most of your day standing, moving, and managing tasks that are as physical as they are detailed. This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork and hard work are essential, and you’ll be joining a small, passionate team that takes immense pride in their craft.
You’ll also have the opportunity to improve or develop new systems to help our growing studio operate even more efficiently. Experience with Google Workspace, Technology Integrations, Process/Workflow Optimizations, Enterprise Systems Management, and Order Controlling are valuable assets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets/Google Workspace
  • Fast typing skills: Minimum 50 WPM with 98% accuracy (typing test required – details below)
  • Exceptional fine motor skills for detail-oriented tasks (e.g., precise packaging and presentation)
  • Physical strength and stamina for a highly active role (standing, moving, lifting)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks with precision
  • Reside in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area
Responsibilities
  • Order Intake and Cataloging: Receive, unpack, photograph, and accurately catalog incoming orders.
  • Data Entry and Records Management: Use Excel and Google Sheets to document order details, ensuring data accuracy for long-term accessibility.
  • Packaging and Quality Assurance: Meticulously prepare each item for shipping, including using tools like lasers for etching and coordinating custom framing as needed. Packaging must meet the highest standards of precision and craftsmanship.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Ensure all outgoing orders are packed securely and correctly, and incoming supplies are well-organized.
  • Workflow and System Management: Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and contribute to the studio’s operational efficiency.
  • General Studio Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with studio cleaning as part of the team.
