We’re looking for a Sub Agent to join our Regional Civils team based at Bridgwater Tidal Barrier in Somerset.
Location: Bridgwater Tidal Barrier, Somerset
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

As a Sub Agent, you’ll be working within the Regional Civils team, supporting them by working on a collaborative Delivery Framework with the Environment Agency delivering schemes across the Southwest.

Your day to day will include:

• Assisting with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement and design delivery schedules
• Liaising with Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant materials and temporary works to carry out required activities
• Managing the site engineering team, being responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers
• Responsibility for identifying and resolving problems arising from technical site issues in liaison with Agent
• Ensuring site teams have required documentation, information, resources required to carry out duties

This role of Sub Agent is great for you if:

• You hold relevant HNC/degree
• You have experience and knowledge of practical application of site engineering activities combined with supervision skills
• You hold CSCS card - Supervisor Gold, experienced Supervisor or Manage
