Description Long-Term Substitute Teacher Reports to: Principal Job Description: A trained professional who provides classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of a regular teacher. The Long-Term Substitute Teacher ensures continuity of learning, maintains classroom order, and supports the academic and spiritual development of students in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Catholic education. This is a temporary, part-time position that upholds diocesan and school standards for teaching and conduct. Responsibilities: Implements lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular teacher or school administration. Maintains a positive, structured, and faith-filled classroom environment. Monitors student learning and provides appropriate feedback and support. Collaborates with school staff to ensure a smooth transition and consistency in instruction. Promotes the values and teachings of the Catholic faith in word and example. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and state teaching certification required. Experience in classroom instruction preferred. Commitment to Catholic education and Christian values. Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
