Description We are looking for experienced detailers that are used to using products and machinery safely to perform a detailers job. The Detailer is responsible for performing a variety of duties and some that overlap with the porter position Remove any tagging or coverings prior to hand over to the client Completely wash Sales and Service vehicles inside and out as needed Perform full interior and exterior details as needed Perform minor scratch or paint blemish repairs Use of power tools – (orbital buffers, high pressure sprayers, hand held detail tools) Transport clients when required Pick up and drop off clients vehicles when required Keep dealership lot, service drive, and customer facing areas clean and orderly (this includes sweeping, washing, spraying down, or collecting trash?) Return vehicles and keys to the proper department and to the proper employee Keep clean and orderly work station Requirements Clean driving record Valid Drivers License Daily attendance is essential Maintaining a professional appearance Friendly and customer focused attitude Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information Friendly, customer focused attitude Previous work experience preferred Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle machinery safely Compensation based on experience. The Detailer/Car Washer Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include base Hourly Compensation of between $24.00 - $30.00.

Responsibilities

The Detailer is responsible for performing full interior and exterior vehicle details, minor scratch repairs, and safely operating detailing machinery like orbital buffers and high-pressure sprayers. This role also includes overlapping duties with a porter, such as transporting clients and keeping the dealership lot and customer-facing areas clean.
