Description We are expanding our company and set to open our new location in late March. This position will have a start date towards the end of March. We offer competitive pay and are looking for individuals who are eager to work and grow this business with us. We are seeking a talented, ambitious, and experienced individual to join our Parts Department. The candidate will be building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, and obtaining sales and profit objectives. Above all else, the Parts counter person is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and delivery of product knowledge. Responsibilities include: · Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. · Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. · Provide high level of service to internal and external customers. · Pulls and fills orders from stock. · Informs Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts and shop materials that need immediate attention. · Notifies service advisors and customers when special order parts have arrived. · Follows up on back order parts. · Cooperate with all other dealership managers to work toward the overall dealership vision. · Help promote positive employee morale. · Report to management any circumstances that compromise the integrity of the dealership.. · Ensure that customer inconveniences, complaints and misunderstandings are proactively addressed quickly and fairly. · Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc. · Understand the manufacturer's warranty policy and procedure. Requirements · Counter experience in an auto repair facility or dealership experience a plus. · Must have valid in-state driver's license, have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits to drive both customer vehicles and a demonstrator vehicle. · Must be insurable. · Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity. · Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct. · High School diploma or equivalent. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. · Commitment to customer service and demonstrated past customer service experience. · Strong attention to detail. · Process driven. · Previous success in sales and resolving customer service issues. · Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information. · Prior Dealertrack experience a plus. Compensation based on experience. We offer full health and medical benefits, including life, dental, 401k, paid company holidays and paid vacation. The Counter Person Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.90 and $25.00 hourly.
Responsibilities
