Company Description The Subcontract Administrator works under the direction of the Senior Subcontract Engineer and supports the assigned subcontracting packages, assisting the Subcontract Engineer as needed. The role encompasses a range of tasks related to quantity surveying, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration. What you will need to do: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in accordance with Archirodon standard methods of measurement; Conduct feasibility studies to estimate material, labour, and time costs. Analyse subcontractor proposals for rates and man-hours; Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for technical and commercial coordination. Perform quantum calculations and verify subcontractor claims and variations. Review and validate Subcontractor Progress Payment Certificates, ensuring accurate application of unit prices and adherence to contractual measurement methods. Maintain accurate and well-organized records to support resolution of contractual disputes. Expedite timely submission of payment statements, supporting documents, and deliverables from subcontractors. Monitor site progress and ensure timely submission and negotiation of claims for loss and expense in line with contract conditions. Assist in evaluating and validating extra work requests, new rates, and quantum claims from subcontractors. Support in collecting and analyzing subcontractor performance data. Contribute to the close-out process, including monitoring completion of Punch List items. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal company guidelines as part of Archirodon’ s Integrated Management System (IMS). What you will need to have: Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation), or related field. Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also be considered. Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role such as Subcontract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor, or Estimator. Proven track record with major EPC contractors in the oil & gas sector, preferably with regional experience in GCC countries. Working knowledge of CESMM3/4, NRM2, or similar international measurement systems is desirable. Demonstrated experience in negotiating quantities and unit rates with both clients and subcontractors. Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments independently, and perform effectively under pressure. Strong MS Excel skills, including use of advanced formulas and pivot tables. Familiarity with ERP systems and the full MS Office Suite. Basic knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project planning tools Fluent in English (oral and written).
