Description

Our client, a construction company based in Leyland, are currently recruiting for an experienced Subcontractor Ledger Clerk to work within their busy finance team.

Duties include:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of subcontractor payments
  • Maintain and reconcile the subcontractor ledger
  • Process subcontractor invoices and applications for payment
  • Ensure compliance with CIS regulations
  • Ensuring insurances are up to date
  • Deal with any queries and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in month end processes including account reconciliations and reporting

To be considered for this role, you need to have worked in a similar position within the construction industry and have a strong understanding of CIS regulations and construction accounting processes.
In return you will receive a competitive salary, excellent holidays starting at 25 days plus bank holidays raising to 30 days plus bank holiday with time served, good pension and free on site parking.
